Regenerative Ranch Foundation is more than a nonprofit.
We are a community of clinicians, mentors, and advocates restoring trust, stability, and connection in the lives of adopted youth.

Our mission is to walk beside adoptive families through their hardest seasons, helping them move beyond impossible crossroads into a new landscape of healing — with personalized, community-rooted care that rebuilds strength, trust, and belonging..

    Savanah McCarty

    EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Savanah McCarty is a social worker and equine specialist whose work centers on healing and regenerative mental health.

From 2013 to 2021 she founded and led Wild Souls Ranch, building a multimillion-dollar sanctuary that served 150 high-risk foster and adopted youth each year through immersive equine therapy. Working with California officials, she drafted the wraparound model that now sets the state’s standard for family-centered care.

A former ward of the court, McCarty brings lived insight and a deep commitment to keeping adoptive families intact. She also teaches Conscious Horsemanship and hosts Regenerative Ranch Retreats for participating families on a working ranch in Montana, pairing trail dust with trauma-informed healing.

Named Humboldt County’s 2020 Businesswoman of the Year, she continues to push community-based, transformative mental-health practice across rural America.
